About

The newest member of the Infiné label is called UTO, named after a dog Emile and Neysa followed into a forest in autumn 2016, before getting lost. Pop by night and triphop by day, UTO wields both the codes of efficiency and those of experimentation, a mix as unusual as it is delicious.

The duo live, write, compose, record, produce and mix their music in their studio in Le 45, in the middle of the woods. Their style blends their love of the Anglo-Saxon folk of the seventies with the electronic music of today, via the Bristol scene of the nineties. Portishead, Broadcast, Bjork, Kim Gorden, and, more recently, Adrianne Lenker and Eartheater have all inspired the unique sound of UTO.
