Niall Ashley is a patched and updated continuation harnessing a wider sonic palette and advanced songwriting; flipping between a soulful Al Jarreau vocal range and self-produced ensembles incorporating a Bristolian openness and worldview. Niall concocts Mark Fisher inspired Hauntological sounds that redirect nostalgia, flattening and accelerating it into the future.

Niall is a DIY artist blending VST synth patches with custom Unreal Engine plug-ins. Performances become dramatic theatre as Niall’s motion capture skin steps between digital and physical space, recontextualising video game technology and its engines.
