echec is a blackened-grunge duo born of a desire to depart from electronic music. Their influences range from black metal to hyper pop, with a detour through witch house and screamo, to name a few. These are filtered through their very spontaneous and direct musical approach, where pedal-boards, rows of toms and cymbals and other superfluous accessories are intentionally put aside.
